Biography
I am currently a Medical Negligence solicitor based in our Sheffield Office. Prior to qualification, I worked in the department as a Paralegal for approximately three and a half years.
I work on a variety of case types and assist clients who have suffered an injury as a result of negligent medical treatment. I also have experience attending and supporting clients at an inquest.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I enjoy working at Irwin Mitchell and believe in the company’s values. Everyone I work with is friendly and willing assist where possible. We all strive to make a positive difference to our clients lives.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding part of my role is securing answers for my clients. I appreciate that money cannot make up for the errors that have occurred in my clients lives, however I hope that the process provides them with some closure.
What inspired you to get into law?
I started studying law during my A-levels and I thoroughly enjoyed participating in a mock trial. Following this, I went on to study Law at degree level and completed a placement at Irwin Mitchell in the Medical Negligence team. I found this experience very rewarding and a great opportunity to further develop my knowledge. I enjoyed this experience so much that shortly after my graduation, I applied for a Paralegal position within the team.
