What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
The team at Irwin Mitchell all want the best for their clients and this is something which is really important to me.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding aspect of my role is providing answers to my clients that they have never been given. Whether that be an explanation, an apology, or achieving some sort of resolution or closure.
Often clients come to a Medical Negligence Solicitor when they have experienced, or are presently experiencing, some of the worst times in their lives. The ability to investigate concerns, obtain answers and help plan for the future, is very rewarding.
What inspired you to get into law?
I chose Law at A-Level, and from then I knew that it was something I was really keen to pursue a career in, the subject allowed me to demonstrate both my analytical skills but also my creative side.
In my first year of university, I started volunteering at a local high street law firm, where I later went on to secure a training contract. During my time volunteering alongside my studies, I was inspired by my colleagues and the work they did to support their clients, I knew then that I wanted a career in which I could make a difference to others.
What do you do away from the office?
Outside of work I like to go for long walks with my dog, attend gym classes, and spending time with family and friends.
