Biography
I am a Senior Associate Costs Lawyer in the Firm of Irwin Mitchell based in our Sheffield Office, having qualified in 2011. I was one of the founding members of the Costs management Team when I joined in 1999. Since then, the team has grown to its current level of almost 100 members.
I am involved in all aspects of Costs, from Bill preparation through to Detailed Assessment. Since the inception of budgeting, I have also been involved in preparing budgets and attending CCMC hearings.
These days my time is spent dealing with the management of the team in Sheffield, Manchester and London, along with working with and developing new starters and Trainee Costs lawyers, conducting advocacy, delivering training and working on various Costs Pilots.
