Biography
I am a solicitor in the Tax, Trusts and Estates team in London. I have worked and trained with the team since 2019 and qualified in July 2021. I advise high net worth individuals in the UK and internationally, on domestic and international taxation and succession planning.
What inspired you to get into law?
I wanted a career where I would be constantly challenged intellectually and where every case was different. This area of law is constantly evolving and each client has individual needs, so all the boxes were ticked
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Getting to know a client and building a relationship they can rely upon. Also successfully solving a complex piece of tax work.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
The work/life balance that is truly emphasised. Especially with the new normal and the flexibility that we are offered and trust in doing in our jobs.
What do you do away from the office?
I am a strong advocate for LGBT and other diversity initiatives. I try to spend my time getting involved or stay educated where possible, even just by reading an article or listening to a podcast.
