Biography
I joined Irwin Mitchell in January 2020 as a solicitor in the serious injury team. I specialise in spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury claims and got my experience as both a paralegal and following qualification at other specialist firms.
I help adults and children who have suffered life-changing injuries, in particular:
- Multiple traumas
- Complex orthopaedic injuries
- Spinal cord injuries
- Traumatic brain injuries.
I also represent the families of people who’ve been tragically killed in an accident.
These injuries can be caused by different situations, including road traffic accidents, specifically motorbike or cycling accidents and injured pedestrians and accidents at work.
I'm passionate about early rehabilitation for my clients and so I'll look to secure my clients interim payments where possible. I have a client centred focus and make sure that each client receives an individual service to suit their needs. This includes working with my clients to assist them with getting the appropriate rehabilitation, equipment, care and accommodation they need following their accident to help them rebuild their lives.
What inspired you to get into law?
I wanted to work with people in a job which made a difference to their lives.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Assisting a client with their journey through their rehabilitation and care and seeing them restore their quality of life and learn to live with their new circumstances.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
Solicitors at Irwin Mitchell are all passionate about their clients and achieving the best possible result. The collaborative nature of my team here at Irwin Mitchell ensures that I have access to a wide range of expertise which helps me provide the best service for each of my clients.
What do you do away from the office?
Outside of the office, I enjoy singing in a choir and I love to dance. I also love cooking and baking especially when it is for and with my family and friends.
Testimonials
"Very helpful and professional. Came to see me in my home for my convenience. Although it took a long while to settle my case I was kept up dated at every stage." - 5* Trustpilot review
