Biography
I am a Solicitor in the Medical Negligence team in Sheffield and I have worked at Irwin Mitchell since 2016.
I act for clients who have suffered an injury due to negligent care by medical professionals including GPs, hospitals and other healthcare providers. I have experience of dealing with a wide range of cases including:
- Surgical negligence
- Delay in diagnosis and treatment
- Fatal claims
- Claims involving stillbirths and neonatal deaths
- Orthopaedic injuries.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
I feel so privileged to be able to support my clients through what is often a very difficult time for them. Medical negligence claims are complex so being able to make this process easier and get justice for the pain that they have experienced is the most rewarding part of my job.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
I am lucky enough to work in an exceptionally passionate and knowledgeable team who strive to support each other as well as our clients.
What Inspired You to Get Into Law?
I developed a passion for justice when I studied law as part of my A-levels and I carried this on to university. I always knew that I wanted to help people and after my studies I decided that a legal career was the way I was going to do this.
