Biography
I am an Associate Solicitor in the Lifestyle and Estate Planning team in the Leeds office, with extensive experience in Wills, Estate administration, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Elderly and Vulnerable client affairs. I advise people at all stages of their life, including succession and end of life planning, after they have lost a loved one, on marriage or divorce, starting a family, or moving themselves or a loved one into residential care.
I qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and I am a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly and an affiliate STEP member.

I have worked at different sized firms and was drawn to the excellent level of expertise in the team at Irwin Mitchell and the opportunity to spend more time on more complex and interesting areas of private client law.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Working as a team with clients and their families to achieve their aims.
What inspired you to get into law?
In my late 20s I wanted a career change and to spend my working life being involved in people's lives on a professional level. My research led me to consider law and my methodical and efficient personality seemed a good fit and I wasn't wrong!
What do you do away from the office?
When I'm not working I spend a lot of time exercising; running, playing squash, taekwondo, spin classes etc. I also involve myself in local community and environmental groups.
