Biography
I am a Partner in the Medical Negligence department and manage a team of lawyers in our Sheffield office. I have specialised in medical law since 2000 and I have particular interest in birth and neonatal injuries, maternal birth injuries, claims relating to orthopaedic treatment leading to amputation and adult brain and spinal injuries.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Seeing the positive effect that a successful claim can have on an individual and their family really makes my job worthwhile.
What inspired you to get into law?
Right from before I left school, I wanted to pursue a career in the law. As soon as I started working in the Medical Negligence team, I knew that this was the right area of law for me and have never looked back!
What do you do away from the office?
My two sons and my dog keep me busy, and we enjoy spending lots of quality time together as a family, which generally involves being outside and getting very muddy!
