Biography
I am a Solicitor in the Public Law and Human Rights team. I joined Irwin Mitchell in November 2024 having qualified as a solicitor in September 2024 with over four years of previous experience in Public Law.
I specialise in Education law and act in a wide range of education related public law matters including appeals to the SEND Tribunal, school exclusions and judicial review against Local Authorities and other public bodies. I have significant experience in bringing judicial review claims in the High Court, with a particular interest in strategic challenges to improve the landscape of rights for children and young people. I also have experience of working with charities and acting as an intervenor in ongoing proceedings.
My commitment to children's rights has always driven my career. I have extensive experience of working with vulnerable and marginalised individuals and am accredited as a Senior Immigration and Asylum Law Caseworker. In addition to education and immigration law, I also have experience in community care matters with particular focus on the intersection of social care and education provision.
What do you do away from the office?
Outside of work, my weekends are frequently spent rushing between netball games (as a player for a local club) and football matches (as a keen Arsenal fan).
