Promotions Include Former Irwin Mitchell Trainee And Chartered Tax Advisor
Irwin Mitchell has promoted eight people to Partner level in its latest promotion round.
The new Partners work across the country and in the various areas of law including real estate, personal injury, public law and private wealth.
The promotions mean that 43 per cent of Partners at Irwin Mitchell are now female and follow the 90 Associate and Senior Associate promotions made in January this year.
One of the newly promoted lawyers, David Withers from the Serious Injury team in Sheffield, began life at Irwin Mitchell as a trainee in 2010 and has worked his way up to Partner; while Liz Beadsley from the Chichester office’s Tax, Trusts and Estates team is a Chartered Tax Advisor and worked at accountancy firms prior to joining Irwin Mitchell.

“Those promoted to Partner have made a strong contribution to Irwin Mitchell and demonstrated excellent work for their clients and I’m delighted to congratulate them on their success. It’s especially pleasing that several of those promoted started their careers here as trainees as it is hugely important to us to invest in and help develop our people.” Andrew Tucker - CEO
The others include Brian Dowling, Nicola Gooch (Real Estate) and Natalie Barnes (Banking and Finance) who support businesses. The new personal injury partners alongside David Withers (Serious Injury) are Lauren Hurney (Medical Negligence) and Amanda Marsh (Armed Forces).
