Firm Highest Ranking Law Firm in Super Large Organisations Category For Second Year Running
Irwin Mitchell has been recognised again as one of the UK’s best places to work for wellbeing in 2024 by the Great Place to Work Institute.
This year, Irwin Mitchell was ranked 40th in the Best Workplaces for Wellbeing 2024 for Super Large Organisations. The firm has been the highest-ranking law firm in this category for the last two years.
Established in 2022, the wellbeing rankings are assessed through Great Place to Work analysing thousands of employee surveys and assessing people’s experiences of wellbeing at work to determine the UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing list.
The UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing rankings include organisations who have succeeded in making their employees experience high levels of wellbeing in their workplace.
To compile the list, Great Place To Work analyse thousands of employee surveys, assessing their holistic experiences of wellbeing at work through areas fundamental to employee wellbeing. These include: work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, and financial security.
Evaluations included an assessment of how well organisations were able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.
Irwin Mitchell has again been singled out for a consistent approach to wellbeing, which has seen mental health form a core part of the firm’s ongoing people strategy.
Support provided by Irwin Mitchell includes a team of Healthy Mind Advocates, trained as Mental Health Champions by Mental Health First Aid England, backed by the firm’s National Wellbeing Team. All colleagues benefit from a range of policies designed to deliver real flexibility and inclusion, including a ‘Flexible By Choice’ approach to work, which allows colleagues to choose where and when they wish to work, subject to client need.
Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work UK says: “Wellbeing, engagement, and trust between employees are critical ingredients to successful workplace culture. Now in our third year of the UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list, we’re able to showcase the leading UK organisations providing environments conducive to outstanding psychological, physical, financial and social wellbeing.
