New 2024 Rankings Demonstrate Firm’s Competence, Consistency and Care Across Key Client Groups

The latest independent Legal 500 UK 2024 Guide has highlighted Irwin Mitchell’s quality across the firm’s core client groups, with 29 of the firm’s teams awarded top tier rankings.

The leading guide to law firms and solicitors in the UK, the Legal 500 Guide is considered an essential reference source for those buying legal services. The guide provides the very latest reliable data on law firms and their solicitors throughout the country.

Irwin Mitchell has seen thirteen of its teams move up in the rankings this year, while 132 Irwin Mitchell colleagues were personally recommended, with 29 recording an improvement from last year. The excellent results show Irwin Mitchell’s strength in depth as a full service firm with services for both individuals and businesses praised by clients responding to researchers for the guide.

Teams improving their rankings on 2023 included tax and trusts teams in the firm’s Southampton, Manchester and Birmingham offices and the family teams in Leeds and Cambridge. Other improving teams included agriculture in Leeds and Sheffield; public sector in Southampton, real estate in Birmingham and the international property team in London.

Overall, 90 of the firm’s practice areas were ranked in total; with 29 tier 1 practice rankings; while four practices got 'Firms to watch'. In total, 88 practices maintained their ranking, while 13 areas improved their ranking result.
