Experienced Private Client Solicitor Joins Irwin Mitchell As Leeds Office Expansion Continues

The expansion of Irwin Mitchell’s private client services team in Yorkshire has already hit the ground running in 2023, with the appointment of a new solicitor.

Charlotte Pegg has joined the private client team in the Leeds office as an associate solicitor. Formerly at Wrigleys Solicitors, Charlotte has over four years’ experience in private client law, specialising in advising trustees of high value private family trusts in relation to all matters of trust law, including complex trust re-structuring.

Charlotte’s experience includes advising both high net worth individuals and business owners alike in respect of succession planning and asset protection.

Having recently passed her final exam to complete the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma, the benchmark for trusts and estates lawyers, Charlotte is now awaiting confirmation of her TEP status.

The Tier 1 ranked (Legal 500) private client team which is a STEP Platinum employer partner, has seen other success recently, with associate Sarah Wintle having recently passed the STEP advanced certificate in cross border estates. This bolsters the team’s offering in its ability to advise clients who have assets or connections offshore and will provide support to Kat Wainman in her work for clients in this field.

Senior associate Hollie Marcham, has also recently passed the Advanced Certificate in Family Business Governance having previously completed the Advanced Certificate in Advising Family Business. These qualifications further strengthen the team’s ability to advise business families on the key issue of succession planning.
