Law Firm Among The Best For Number Of Private Client Work In The UK

Irwin Mitchell has once again been recognised in the UK’s top private client directory following publication of the 2022 eprivateclient Top Law Firms rankings.

The eprivateclient guide provides a detailed examination of the top private wealth law firms and their departments from across the UK. Firms are ranked based on several factors, including the number of fee earners; private client revenue and firm’s reputation, all coupled with the guide’s market knowledge.

Irwin Mitchell has retained its position in the rankings, with this year’s publication showing the law firm as having the second largest number of private client staff in the country, together with the third largest fee earner count.

The Private Client team at Irwin Mitchell headed by Paula Myers is now focused into five groups:

• Lifestyle and estate planning
• Tax trusts and compliance
• Partnerships wills and probate
• International High Net Worth
• Wills Trusts and Estates Disputes

The release of the eprivateclient rankings follow last month’s strong performance by Irwin Mitchell in this year’s Chambers Guide and following publication of the Legal 500 Guide in September.

The Chambers Guide saw 51 of Irwin Mitchell’s departments ranked, including 23 number ones and 144 individually ranked lawyers, including 13 newly recognised. There were top tier rankings for 27 Irwin Mitchell teams in the Legal 500 Guide, which saw several other teams moving up and 115 colleagues personally recommended, 30 for the first time.
