50 Irwin Mitchell Solicitors Now Listed In Leading Peer Review Guide
The latest edition of peer review publication, Best Lawyers, has added six more Irwin Mitchell partners to this year’s UK guide.
Established over 40 years ago, the Best Lawyer guides are compiled via exhaustive peer review surveys in which tens of thousands of leading solicitors confidentially evaluate their professional peers. It now covers 76 countries and ranks lawyers in 147 practice areas based on over 13m evaluations. The UK version was launched in 2006.
The Irwin Mitchell additions to the new 2023 guide are Oliver Studdert (Public Law), Shah Qureshi (Employment Law), Zahra Pabani (Family Law), Joanne Bone (Commercial), Georgie Collins (Intellectual Property), and Alex Ruffel (Trusts and Personal Tax).
Oliver Carter, Fiona McGhie and Gus Silverman, who work in Irwin Mitchell’s Public Law department, are listed in the ‘Ones to Watch’ category. The new additions take the total number of Irwin Mitchell solicitors included in both guides to 50.
Expert Opinion
“I am delighted to see these latest results in ‘Best Lawyers’ and equally pleased that they reflect all areas of our business. These results not only reflect the strength in depth that we have, they also highlight our expertise and the high credibility our lawyers have with their peers.” Andrew Tucker - CEO
Last year Irwin Mitchell retained its strong rankings within Legal 500. The publication of the UK 2022 guide saw 32 Irwin Mitchell teams with top tier rankings, while the firm was recommended in 63 others.
Last year Irwin Mitchell became one of only a handful of law firms to be granted a Gold Award in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS), a government initiative that recognises those employers who support Armed Forces reservists within their organisation. It was recently named as the leading Superbrand in the legal sector for the second consecutive year.
