MediaCity On The List Of Sites For Top Secret Project

The high profile Tomorrow project has increased its requirement for office space within Greater Manchester, according to media reports.

TheBusinessDesk.com has revealed that the secret venture, formerly known as Project Digital, is now looking at around 250,000 sq ft across 50 buildings in Greater Manchester. This is almost 40 per cent more than what was previously thought.

Buildings and sites on the list include MediaCityUK, The Hive on Lever Street, Manchester One and Ocean House at Towers in Didsbury. Citylabs, 196 Deansgate and St Peter's Square in Stockport are also believed to be under consideration.

The project was first announced almost 18 months ago and involves a consortium of organisations which are looking to bring a revolutionary new technology to the city.

In addition to the 50 buildings, the consortium wants to base its European headquarters in Manchester.

Although the finer details of the Tomorrow project remain undefined, it is certainly tremendously exciting for Manchester and complementary to the Manchester city region’s increasing profile as a creative industries hub.
