New Associate For Top Law Firm’s Reading Tax, Trusts and Estates Team
Alistair Robertson-Gopffarth Joins From Moore Barlow
A new associate has joined leading national law firm Irwin Mitchell’s Reading Tax, Trusts and Estates team.
Alistair Robertson-Gopffarth joins from Moore Barlow’s Lymington office as an associate, with five years of experience as a solicitor having been in the Royal Navy for twenty years. He specialists in wills, trust and estate planning, and tax advice; often acting for individuals and estates with assets located in multiple jurisdictions.
Having recently qualified as a notary public as well as speaking fluent German and a working knowledge of Dutch, Alistair is well-placed on advising international clients. Alistair is also a Chartered Tax Adviser, bringing a broad range of skills to the Reading team.
The firm’s Reading office is its newest location, having been established in July 2019. The team, headed by partner Sarah Phillips, now has a headcount of six qualified solicitors, all part of the national Tax, Trusts and Estates team.

The national Tax, Trusts and Estates team recently won Private Client Legal Team of the Year at the 2020 STEP Private Client Awards, which took place in December.
