"The haters gonna hate, hate, hate..."
Excuse me borrowing from you, Taylor, but you'd have thought that we'd had enough of hate and fear. But no. Recent events in Paris have sparked a backlash across the world against people of religion and no religion alike. The UK news on 17 November reported Syrian refugees to this country being badly treated in the street. Radio 4 reports indiscriminate attacks on Muslims and non-Muslims victims. Is this some throw back to the discrimination of the 1950s and 1960s? The French term it égalité, for us it is equality or equal treatment. We have to live it out and tell the haters that their hate is not in our name.
