Biography
I am a Welfare Benefits Advisor based in our Leeds office. I have over 10 years' experience of working within the welfare benefits field hence my wealth of knowledge and experience.
I primarily work with our Court of Protection clients, ensuring that they are in receipt of all the benefits that they are entitled to, providing advice and guidance regarding the benefits system, and challenging the DWP from the first stage which is a mandatory reconsideration, right up to an appeal to the Tribunal.
The most rewarding part of my role is successfully challenging the DWP when it has made errors, to ensure that clients receive the benefits they are entitled to in order to provide for their long-term future.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I really enjoy working at Irwin Mitchell. As a busy working mum of 2 beautiful girls, the 'flexible by choice' policy really ensures that I can maintain the right work/life balance.

What do you do away from the office?
My weekends are currently spent taking my daughter to her rugby matches. I have never been into rugby but now she plays, I am really enjoying it and now understand the rules!
