“I’m immensely proud to announce nine new Partners and I’m delighted to congratulate them on their success. Promotion to Partner is a great achievement which not only recognises the role they play currently, but also their ability to drive and shape our future growth and success. These promotions follow on from our announcement about our new associates and senior associates and are another clear sign of the emphasis we place on investing and developing our people.” Andrew Tucker, Group CEO at Irwin Mitchell
In addition to the nine new promoted partners, Irwin Mitchell has recruited 17 new partners during the 2022/23 financial year across teams including Corporate, Commercial, Property, Estate Planning, Tax and IP. Earlier this month, Irwin Mitchell Asset Management Limited (IMAML) completed a deal to acquire the business and assets of Leeds-based Andrews Gwynne LLP. This follows IMAML’s acquisition of Alderley Edge based financial planners TWP Wealth.
At the start of 2023 Irwin Mitchell launched a new Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Advisory Service for corporate and institutional clients leading with new products to audit cyber security and help clients with diversity and inclusion assessment, support and training.
It also recently opened two new offices in Cardiff and Liverpool and has continued with its Flexible By Choice ways of hybrid working empowering colleagues to make their own decisions about where and when they will work subject to client requirements.
All promotions take effect from 1 May 2022 and the Partner appointments are subject to SRA approval.
